Reporting gambling winnings even though I lost way more than I won.
Hello.In 2020 on Bovada I won 275 dollars and lost 1750 dollars. The 275 I won was betting 250 dollars to win 275 dollars (i.e. I bet 250 and received 525 back when I won).In 2020 on Mybookie I won 250 dollars and lost 4397.68 dollars. The 250 I won was from betting 250 dollars to win 250 dollars (i.e. I bet 250 and received 500 when I won). For Bovada, I was able to withdraw the $525 as Bitcoin to my coinbase account, where I immediately sold it for cash and withdrew to savings. For Mybookie they refused to let me withdraw my money and told me that in order to withdraw it I would have to gamble it again and if I won after gambling it again I'd be able to withdraw. So my questions:
Neither website sent me a W-2G. I was trying to add a W-2G to credit karma for my taxes and the form requires a "Payer's federal ID" which apparently you get from the W-2G. I was never given one so I don't know what to do here. I also don't know whether I am supposed to report that I won 250 dollars or 525 dollars. 525 is what I received when I won the bet, but subtracting what initially wagered I only actually won 275 dollars.

I titled my post day whatever, because I don't keep track anymore. Everyone is always posting "day 1" then 8 days later posting "day 1" again. It's a never ending cycle and I used to do it to. With the O/U being 42.5, you'll get the option to bet on the final score adding up to either more or less than 42.5 points. Why is there a .5 if you can't score half of a point in football? It makes it exciting. Imagine betting the over and the final total is 42. That half point screwed you! Vegas always wins :) Prop Bets This concerns about events that may happen during the game.
